Officially ONE!

Well, it all went off without a hitch! Olivia's 1st Birthday party, that is! Since she won't be able to remember her 1st party, we decided to have a small family get together for her. My mom and sister came last week to watch Olivia, while Anthony and I joined his family on a trip to Colorado (post on this later!) and so they were still here so they could celebrate with us and help us put everything together (well really, they pretty much did it all!!).

Her party was from 2-4:30 on her actual birthday (July 19th). We started off a little untraditional by singing her Happy Birthday and letting her have her cake. She LOVED being sung to.. she had the biggest smile on her face! This was her first taste of sugar and there wasn't a doubt in our minds that she loved it! Her smash cake was adorable; a miniature 3-tiered cake just for her. She ate almost all of the top tier, but we think she was getting grossed out about being so messy! ha!

After her cake, cupcakes and ice cream, chocolate covered strawberries, and raspberry lemonade (all homemade - yum!) was served to the guests.

Then, everyone watched as she (or Anthony and I) opened her presents. She gave a few of them a good "ripping". Her favorite items were the pony her dad and I gave her, as well as her very own chair her Uncle Brett gave her. She also really liked her bubble blower and bi-lingual animal farm toy from Auntie Mally & Uncle Chris. I have SOOO many great pictures! You can view them here!

Olivia is truly blessed to have so many people whom love her; although no one loves her more than her daddy and I do! If you look up spoiled in the dictionary, a picture of Olivia will surely be there! Happy Birthday, my baby beetlebug!
