A little sneak peek at my first ever quilt blanket. I decided that it'd be so special if my first one was for my daughter. It is turning out quite lovely. I can't wait to show you the final product, which hopefully won't be too far away.
One of my new favorite websites is Purl Bee. I love how modern quilting and sewing can be. I feel like it gets a bad rap because of this old-grandma stigma. But, walk into any fabric store (preferably a non-chain) and you will find stunning fabrics filled with vibrant colors and designs such as Amy Butler, Moda and Anna Maria Horner. A sure way to inspire your inner creative seamstress.
