It Pays to Be Cheap

It pays to be a cheapskate! I ran across this blog and have really enjoyed seeing all the good deals and such. Like yesterday, I took advantage of Walgreen's photo deal. It was Buy 25 4x6 pictures, get 25 free. It worked out great, too, cause I have been really needing to print up Olivia's 1st birthday pictures. In addition, they had a special where, for yesterday only, you could get a free collage. I thought maybe it wouldn't let me since I was doing the Buy25Get25 deal, and at first it wouldn't. But then I placed the order seperately and it went through! So, I got 65 pictures and a collage for $9, which comes out to .14 cents a photo, a nickel cheaper per picture than the original cost.

I decided to do kind of a "lost picture" theme for the collage. I went through and found pictures of Buggy that are good, but never were posted or shared with many people. It turned out really cute! I'm planning on putting the collage on the fridge or finding a cute frame for it.

There are some deals on the blog, that in my opinion, aren't really deals when you're cheap to begin with. Like today's shoe discount, I never spend more than $12 for Livi's shoes, especially since she grows out of them so fast... I just can't and don't justify it. You can find some really cute ones for not a lot of cash, so when shoes are $20+ even after a sale or deal, I don't think it's a good deal. Just my opinion.
